A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Gospel -
If you like country music, and you like gospel music, then you'll want to check out Jamie Tolley this Sunday evening at Red Bank United Methodist Church. From West Virginia, Tolley performs a style of country gospel that's part George Strait, part Randy Travis, with faith-centered lyrics. His shows include contributions from his wife and children, making the concert a family affair suitable for everyone. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m., there is no admission but a love offering will be collected for the musicians. 9 to 5 Musical -
Lexington has its own stage at the Village Square Theatre, where the Arts Association is presenting the popular musical, 9 to 5, with music by Dolly Parton. Plan to go weekends January 17-26. You man call the box office at 803-359-1436 for reservations and show times.
