It's All About Herbs Festival -
Join the Lexington County Herb Bunch for the 3rd Annual "It's All About Herbs" Festival. Festival admission is free for all. Activities include a plant sale with many varieties of herbs, herb and plant related vendors, bake sale, free herb mini-demonstrations, seminars, and a silent auction and raffle. Proceeds from the festival help fund a scholarship for a qualified student in Lexington County pursuing an education in the field of Horticulture; maintain a Colonial Garden on the grounds of the Lexington County Museum; and provide professional herbalists to educate the Lexington community on the use of herbs for cooking, growing, crafting and medicinal usage.

Oyster's Down on the Farm -
Don't forget the Chamber's "Oyster's Down on the Farm" being held Thursday, March 27, at a new locations, Harmon's Tree Farm, 3152 Augusta Highway, Lexington. Get your tickets now by calling 803-359-6113.

Golf Galore -
With the coming of springs, there are always golf tournaments in which golfers can participate and enjoy. Below are just a few of the golf tournaments taking place in our area:

Lexington Women's Club Golf Tournament - Being held Monday, March 31, at The Country Club of Lexington. Registration is $160 for two players; includes green fees, cart, parties, drinks and prizes. Call Susan Herndon at 803-413-4526 to sign up.

Lexington Sertoma Club Golf Tournament - Monday, April 28, at Golden Hills Country Club. Lunch with hot dogs and trimmings begins at 11:30 with a 12:30 shotgun start. A Hudson's BBQ dinner will be served after play. There will be prizes, awards to the top 3 teams, and a silent auction with great items. Cost is $400 per team. 3rd Annual Emma Longstreet Memorial Golf Tournament - Tuesday, April 24 at Golden Hills. All proceeds benefit the Emma Longstreet Memorial Fund and Midway Elementary's French Immersion Program. For more info, call 803-730-3442.
