For one weekend only, DREAM - the magic show starring teen prodigy of magic Brandon Wagster - will play the Workshop Theatre stage. Brandon, along with his lovely assistant Hannah, will take you on a journey through the world of magic. On this journey, you will find mystery, excitement...and hopefully your dreams! Friday, October 8-Sunday, October 10. Clinton Sease Corn Maze! It's back for another great year and the theme this year is 'Salute to the American Soldier'! Explore our Government as we celebrate the heroes who keep peace for us all as you embark on a fantastic journey thorough the Corn Maze. Along the way you will find clues, pictures, and games. Maize-o-Vision secret decoders help you navigate the multi-acre puzzle. Friday, October 8-Sunday, October 10. Midlands Fall Plant and Flower Festival. Come out for the SC Department of Agriculture's Fall Plant and Flower festival at the new South Carolina State Farmers Market! This free event will feature plants and yard decor for sale and Clemson Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your gardening questions! Fri-Sat 8am-6pm and Sun noon-5pm. Friday, October 8. Happy Hour History Tours of Main Street. This guided tour stops at various historic sites offering an insight into the evolution of Columbia's rich history from a retail center to a business and residential hub. Tour participants can learn about the architecture of Main Street buildings while enjoying appetizers and drinks along the way. Saturday, October 9. Fall Heritage Festival & Pickin' Party. South Carolina’s traditions of mouth-watering barbecue, home-grown bluegrass musicians and backcountry arts and crafts are all celebrated at the South Carolina State Museum’s annual Fall Heritage Festival and Pickin’ Party. Topiary artist Pearl Fryar of Bishopville will be featured with a showing of the acclaimed documentary, "A Man Named Pearl," and a chance to meet Pearl and hear his inspiring story.
